Erika Rocio works in the patent area of our firm. Her work at OLIVARES is mainly focused on following up and obtaining patent applications in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnological and Chemical areas, as well as assisting in providing technical opinions on patentability and general advice. She has experience in conducting prior art searches and drafting patent applications, mainly in the pharmaceutical area, since within her professional career she worked in two prestigious pharmaceutical companies, was part of a research team in a national health institution, and of a technology transfer team for projects in the health area and served as an examiner at the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI).
When I’m not being a lawyer…
I enjoy seeing new places, discovering new flavors, playing sports, especially swimming and scuba diving, dancing, reading, visiting museums, attending concerts, spending time with my family and friends, and playing with my dog.
