Yolanda Aguirre is part of the Life Sciences group of the Litigation department, she offers an interdisciplinary background in molecular biology, structural biology, biochemistry and medicine, having a broad knowledge in metabolic pathways, signal transduction, and protein biochemistry, including analytical techniques for studying protein structure. She participates as a scientific advisor focusing on patent litigation matters, and IP infringement litigation. She has also experienced in marketing authorisation of pharmaceutical products, analysis and patent inclusion in the Linkage Gazette.
Before joining Olivares, she gained extensive experience in molecular biology while working as a postdoctoral student at the Institute of Cellular Physiology at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). She is currently a guest professor for Master´s and PhD programs in Biological Sciences at UNAM.
