Diego Ballesteros joined OLIVARES in 2017. Since then, he has been a member of Mr. Alonso Camargo´s trademark team, working on plenty of trademark-related matters, such as consultancy, filing, availability searches, license agreements, among others.
Currently, Diego is focused on the trademark prosecution process before the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI), – from its filing to its registration-, on opposition procedures and all related aspects thereof, as well as on developing litigious strategies for the comprehensive protection of our clients’ IP rights.
When I’m not being a lawyer…
I enjoy reading novels and articles about politics, travelling, going to the movies, visiting new restaurants and trying new wines, preferably with my family and friends.
