Civil Litigation | Commercial Litigation

Litigation is something that businesses want to avoid, but when it becomes necessary, the highly experienced litigation team at OLIVARES offers dynamic civil and commercial litigation services for its clients in coordination with all areas of the firm. The team provides meticulous strategies and advice in the face of contentious situations, increasing the likelihood of successful outcomes by taking advantage of available legal solutions, with a practical and compensatory approach.

OLIVARES’ litigation team has acquired extensive experience in tackling overly complex civil litigation, where the firm has achieved, through the implementation of sophisticated strategies, notable and often unprecedented results, including compensation for damages arising from the violation of intellectual property rights that have allowed clients to recover a percentage of sales made illegally. In addition, the firm has successfully defended improper claims for damages, representing clients from various industries.

Some of the litigation situations handled by the firm include

  • Claims of damages for violations of IP Rights
  • Business Torts
  • Contract Disputes
  • Breach of Agreement
  • Unfair Competition
  • Cross-border Litigation
  • Injunctive Relief
  • Temporary Restraining Orders

OLIVARES’ Civil and Commercial Litigation practice includes counseling clients and client representation at the local and federal levels, seeking compensation for damages, non-pecuniary damage, payment of royalties, homologation of judgments, contractual disputes, corporate conflicts, breach of commercial agreements and contracts, among others.
